Learn about the Proposed Tampa Bay Express

FDOT has produced a 172-page draft report on the potential Tampa Bay Express (TBX) project that is sure to benefit many Tampanians. TBX adds toll express lanes available in some areas of 275 and I-4. Express lanes would offer variable pricing based on demand, similar to programs that currently exist in South Florida. Other aspects of the project include improving the I-4 to 275 exchange and replacing the northbound 3-mile section of the Howard Frankland bridge, which is past its lifespan.
